Our mission is to inspire creativity, charity and purpose in all people.

 

Painting With Purpose is a philanthropic organization that offers an innovative approach to generating money for a variety of charities.  We facilitate the sale of paintings created by children with special needs, donate 50% of the gross proceeds to the charity each child represents, award prize money to our customers, and use the remaining revenue to fund continual organizational growth.  It is the goal of Painting With Purpose to help special needs children understand and fulfill their purpose and, through their creativity, inspire others to do the same.

 

The founders of Painting With Purpose Jon and Chris Thornham, are identical twin brothers who were born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.  Since their youth, Jon and Chris were constantly involved with special needs children.  This involvement was recognized by the city of Dartmouth when they received "Youth Volunteer of the Year" awards.  After graduating from high school, both brothers attended the University of New Brunswick (UNB) and received mechanical engineering degrees.  While attending UNB, Jon and Chris spent their summers working in Las Vegas.  During this time, they were fortunate enough to meet Andrew.  Andrew inspired the brothers to make a difference in a fulfilling and creative way.  This led to the creation of Painting With Purpose and Win Win Win Philanthropy.

 

Virtues

Virtues are the moral and admirable qualities each and everyone of us possess.  Each Painting With Purpose painting represents a virtue displayed by the child who painted it.

 

What is Win Win Win Philanthropy?

Painting With Purpose has created a new type of philanthropy, Win Win Win Philanthropy.  Win Win Win philanthropy has three winners.

1. The charitable cause the child is representing.  (In the form of a cash donation from Painting With Purpose).
2. The customers who purchase paintings.  (By winning cash prizes).
3. Painting With Purpose and the Kids.  (By having the opportunity to be philanthropists).

However, most important of all winners are the people who find a greater purpose in their lives, and learn to help others.  This winning cycle is the driving force behind Painting With Purpose.

Before donating proceeds from sales, Painting With Purpose performs extensive research to find the most notable charities. We take great pride in understanding each charity's mission, and how they spend each dollar. When you make purchases from Painting With Purpose you can be assured your money is going to a reputable organization.

 

Painting With Purpose's initial direction for organizational growth is to brand Painting With Purpose across the USA and Canada. We also have plans to expand our reaches to new countries in the near future.
